Declaration of the Spacism

"We declare that"the Spacism" as ART movement,to catch the time that the mankind begin
next evolution by reclamation of the cosmic space."

洋の東西をこえて、美術の歴史を見ると、様々な美術運動が展開されてき
た。西洋美術では、印象派から現代美術に至るまで、産業・テクノロジーの
発達や経済運動・政治的変化の影響を受けながら、フランス・パリから、ア
メリカ・ニューヨークへと、様々な美術運動が起こり展開してきた。そして
現在インターネットの普及により、美術の形も、新しい段階に移行しつつあ
るように見える。

メディアが、まだ発達していない、情報伝達の緩やかな時代はそれぞれの
美術運動を、それぞれのイズムを掲げて宣言しなければならなかった。しか
し、インターネットの発達した現代は、情報を、一瞬で地球の裏側と共有で
きる時代となった。すなわち、ある種のイズムを宣言する必要がなくなったの
かもしれない。

また、テクノロジーの発達は、人類に、宇宙空間という、新しい開拓の場を与
えた。西部開拓に邁進してきたアメリカは、現在、次の開拓地を、宇宙空間に
まで求めているように思える。

産業革命がもたらした、デュシャンの「レディーメイド」や、ウォーホルのポップ
アートの次の現代は、インターネット時代のもたらす、情報のグローバル化を
受ける「地球派」もしくは「宇宙派」の時代なのかもしれない。

Different kinds of art movements have been active throughout the history of art in the
East and the West. Influenced by growth of an industry, technology and political
changes, various art movements have been occurred in western art world.
From Impressionism in Paris, France to Contemporary art in New York, USA.
It seems like the art world is going through yet another great change now
due to the popularity of the Internet. 

When the information technology was not ripe and rapid as of now,
people had to make art manifestoes to express their ideology loud and clear in order to
establish new art movements. 
However, thanks to the Internet, we can share the information with the other side
of the world within seconds so that it seems like it won’t be necessary
to declare the birth of “–ism” in the same manner as before.

Also, the development of new technology has brought us humans
a new place to explore; Outer space.
The US has developed the West and it seems to me
that they would like outer space as their next destination of a settlement.

The Industrial Revolution has brought “Readymades” of Marcel Duchamp
and pop art of Andy Warhol. Now we are living in the Internet era; globally
influenced, culturally diverse, and technologically advancing world.
It is the era of“Earthism” or “Spacism”, I suppose.
